The political race is in full swing, and so is the mud slinging at each other and it no holds barred at this time. Both sides of the race are pulling out all the cards at this time and anyone is ” Fair Game ” says the Trump. The Republican front-runner has been using the former president’s affair with Monica Lewinsky by including that Bill Clinton has had a pattern of “abuse of women.”
Part of the reason the past is coming to haunt the Clinton’s is because Hillary would like to send her husband back on the political trail to get voters to swing in her directions. He plans to hit the road next week and Trump was sure to pull the past card on to the former president without a question in mind.
With that in mind Trump was quick to say “You look at whether it’s Monica Lewinsky or Paula Jones or many of them,” and also included “That certainly will be fair game. Certainly, if they play the woman’s card with respect to me, that will be fair game.”
But Hillary Clinton spokesperson stated that “When [Trump’s] insults are directed at women, immigrants, Asian-Americans, Muslims, the disabled, or hard working Americans looking to raise their wages — Hillary Clinton will stand up to him, as she has from the beginning,” and that she will not be “pushed around” by Trump.
The Trump is also included to say that due to Mrs. Clinton and “With all of her past and her past dealings and, frankly, she’s been involved in it with her husband as much as anybody, for her to be discussing that I think is out of bounds and I’ve let them know that,” and that “Probably maybe more so than anybody I know she shouldn’t be discussing that.”
That because of what she is saying in regards to the sexism being thrown at him, he states that it’s “fair game because his presidency was really considered to be very troubled because of all the things that she’s talking to me about.” He even went so far by tweeting that “If Hillary thinks she can unleash her husband, with his terrible record of women abuse, while playing the women’s card on me, she’s wrong!”
Then tweeted the next day that “Hillary Clinton has announced that she is letting her husband out to campaign, but HE’S DEMONSTRATED A PENCHANT FOR SEXISM, so inappropriate!” but then 12 hours later he was back at the tweeting again that “I turned her exact words against her,” and seems pleased with himself.
Now, this is not the first time that Hillary has used the sexism card. “Hillary Clinton, first of all, calls everybody a sexist and that’s not fair game,” and that “She called Bernie Sanders a sexist because he criticized her. She’s going to play that card, we need to be realistic, and of course she’s going to talk about the Republican war on women, which doesn’t exist.” stated Fiorina from Fox and Friends.
Truly though others have used different cards besides the ” Fair Game” card, like for instance when Sarah Palin said that Obama was “palling around with terrorists”. Or even back in 2008 Clinton said that Rick Lazio was invading her personal bubble. As time continued with the race being ago, there will be others pulling out their card if they have not already. Now at this time it does make you question if Trump was correct at did he turn Hillary’s words against her? Truly the end it will still be up to the voters and how they absorb the information that will be given.
