Leaked Clinton Emails Prove that Sanders Was Sabotaged

Donald Trump put it best in his Acceptance speech on Thursday night. Bernie Sanders was rigged and he never had a chance. On Friday afternoon, WikiLeaks released 20,000 emails that were sent between Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee during the primary race. The staffer that received and sent the most emails was Chairmen Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The emails were titled ‘The Bernie Narrative’, and were more frequent during the month of May after his winning streak which included Rhode Island and Michigan.

“If she outperforms this polling, the Bernie camp will go nuts and allege misconduct,” the staffer writes, “They’ll probably complain regardless, actually.”

“We have the Sanders folks admitting that they lost fair and square, not because we ‘rigged’ anything,” the email said.“Clinton likely to win the state convention with a slim margin and we’ll send a release with final delegate numbers.”

On May 21st with 9 primaries left Schultz continued to push out Sanders from the race.

“This is a silly story,” the chairwoman said. “He isn’t going to be president.”

When Sanders alleged the party had not been fair to him –

“Spoken like someone who has never been a member of the Democratic Party and has no understanding of what we do,” she said.

The DNC and Schultz filed a complaint in late May to Phil Griffin, the president of MSNBC, and Chuck Todd when the claim was made by host Mika Bzerzinski that the committee was treating Sanders unfairly.

“This has been very poorly handled from the start. It has been unfair, and they haven’t taken him seriously, and it starts, quite frankly, with the person that we just heard speaking,” Brzezinski said in May referring to Wasserman Schultz. ““She should step down,”

Several emails were also directed towards Sanders’ faith. Sanders speaks very privately about it but is speculated to be an atheist. Dating back to May 5th, a staffer urged employees for Clinton to target his faith before the West Virginia and Kentucky primaries. This raises questions of impartiality. The Sanders team was asked for a response but refused to comment. This will cause fueled tensions just a few days out of the convention in Philadelphia and delegates from both sides during the ceremony.

These emails point back to the statements Trump has been referring to the last few months that the system is rigged. A further look will be made into the advantage of the Superdelegates which is now evidenced that there was a great bias before the primaries even started when the bosses made their decision in favor for Clinton.

Voters will not take this lightly and this is sure to lower Clinton’s honesty rating and boost Trump’s poll numbers.
