Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz is donating $20 million to several Democratic organizations, in an effort to help defeat Donald Trump.

The billionaire and his wife, Cari Tuna, announced their decision to support Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in a blog post, titled “Compelled to Act,” on Medium early Friday.

They explained it is the first time they have endorsed a presidential candidate, as well as, donated to a presidential campaign.

“This decision was not easy, particularly because we have reservations about anyone using large amounts of money to influence elections,” they wrote.

Their commitment will make Moskovitz the third most generous donor in the election, according to CNN.

The biggest donor, Tom Steyer, a California billionaire and Democratic activist, has given over $30 million to various Democratic groups. On the other hand, Robert Mercer, a major Trump supporter, donated just a little over $20 million to Republican organizations in the 2016 campaign.

The couple wrote:

“The Republican Party, and Donald Trump in particular, is running on a zero-sum vision, stressing a false contest between their constituency and the rest of the world.”

“We hope these efforts make it a little more likely that Secretary Clinton is able to pursue the agenda she’s outlined, and serve as a signal to the Republican Party that by running this kind of campaign – one built on fear and hostility – and supporting this kind of candidate, they compel people to act in response.”

“As a nation, we need to figure out how to bring everyone with us, and we believe the Democratic platform currently is more aligned with ensuring that happens.”

However, in a tweet, Moskovitz disclosed he did not meet with Clinton yet. He also stressed that his only intention for the donations is to support the Democratic party.

Moreover, Moskovitz is questioning whether Trump’s interest in the presidency goes beyond winning the election and promoting his personal brand.

“If Donald Trump wins, the country will fall backward, and become more isolated from the global community,” he explained in his blog post.

On another note, the couple’s largest donations will go to the League of Conservation Voters Victor Fund and For Our Future PAC. The organizations are to receive $5 million each.

In addition, Hillary Victory Fund, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Color of Change PAC, For Our Future PAC, and MoveOn.org Political Action will all receive donations from Moskovitz.

“We offer them humbly, and with the deepest love for America, and for the world,” Moskovitz ended the blog post with.
