According to the statistics revealed by the WHO (World Health Organization), approximately 1.62 billion people (that is 24.8 percent of the world population) all over the globe get affected by anemia. And it is found that preschool-age children are the highest getting affected by anaemia and the lowest prevalence is in men. Data stats revealed by CDCP (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) tells that 2.8 million people visits to physicians’ offices for anemia diagnosis and around 526000 people comes under emergency diagnosis category in the United States.

Causes of Anaemia:

Iron deficiency:

Deficiency of iron is one of the major reasons behind the disease. Without an adequate amount of iron absorption, the body becomes prone to anemia. Not eating iron-rich food for an extended period of time can lead to this iron deficiency.

Blood Loss:
