Slovak artist and photographer, Luke Brase is known for taking the world around him and transferring it to paper. His most recent work, “LB Meets New York” was inspired by the city that never sleeps and captures its beauty perfectly.

The artist was born in 1983 in Czechoslovakia and studied art at the Academy of Arts in Slovakia. He is also the founder of the project “Art on the Way.”

In addition to his recent gallery showing, Brase has done 18 solo exhibitions in Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Slovakia, United Kingdom, among others.

In his creations, Brase uses thin line strokes to create a bigger visual picture. The artist also creates pictures within a picture.

Brase also likes to create a 3D effect when it comes to his pieces. In the photo below, you can see that he took his work and continued it along the sides of the canvas:
