Comcast is Experiencing Nationwide Outage

According to a recent report from The Verge, Comcast is experiencing a nationwide outage in the US. The outage is causing problems for anyone using Comcast’s Xfinity service as their service provider. According to crowd-sourced website Down Detector, there have been more than 11,000 reports of Comcast outages since 12:30PM ET. AT&T Fined $5.25M For Nationwide 911 Outages

Today, the Federal Communications Commission announced that AT&T has been forced to pay a $5.25 million fine over a pair of nationwide 911 outages which occurred early last year. The government agency called these outages “unacceptable” in its statement. The FCC says that the first outage, which occurred on March 8, lasted five hours and affected 12,600 callers. Instagram Introduces Ability to Add Music to Stories

Starting today in select markets, users of Instagram Stories will be able to add background music to their photos and videos, according to a report from The Verge. Thousands of songs will be offered directly in the app, with new songs to be added daily.
