Bachelorette Finale angered many viewers with the results. Previous contestant, Becca Kufrin, now serves as the Bachelorette in the latest season. After being dumped in the finale of the previous Bachelor season, viewers wanted Kufrin to reappear and find her true love. Unfortunately, many are outraged by the outcome because of her pick’s previous history.
During the season, we found out that her pick, Garrett Yrigoyen, had liked a variety of Instagram posts that people found offensive. Some of these posts include transphobic, insensitivity to Parkland shooting and other politically crude content.
I never realized the power behind a mindless double tap on Instagram and how it bears so much weight on people’s lives. I did not mean any harm by any of it. My Instagram likes were not a true reflection of me and my morals.”
GARRETT YRIGOYEN RECEIVES BACKLASH FOR HIS INTERNET PAST
Despite the apology given, Twitter users have not been forgiving. In fact, a previous Bachelor contestant, Bekah Martinez, tweeted her opinion about the mess. She tweeted the following:
yooo you can say they’re “just memes” but they’re just hateful, ignorant memes. the shit you like/follow on the internet IS a reflection of your deeper beliefs and values. if he doesn’t find truth in that ugly bullshit, why would he like/follow those kind of accounts? don’t @ me

Other Twitter users ranted as well.
HE 👏🏼 APOLOGIZED 👏🏼 FOR 👏🏼 HURTING 👏🏼 PEOPLE 👏🏼 BUT 👏🏼 NOT FOR 👏🏼 HIS 👏🏼 THOUGHTS 👏🏼 AND VIEWPOINTS. 👏🏼 HE 👏🏼 STILL 👏🏼BELIEVES 👏🏼 THE 👏🏼 THINGS 👏🏼 HE LIKED 👏🏼 AND 👏🏼 POSTED#TheBacheloretteFinale
