After Bruce Jenner’s family friend and loved ones shared their support for Jenner’s recent decision to start transitioning to become a woman; Jenner has been receiving more attention than ever.
So when five paparazzi vehicles were following Jenner, it resulted in a fatal car accident involving Jenner, which would injure 8 people. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway near Corral Canyon Road.
One woman driving a white Lexus, who Jenner rear ended spun into oncoming traffic, and was fatally wounded from the accident. Meanwhile 5 children and 2 adults were hospitalized, according to authorities.
Witness Keoni Picerno told the Post, “He was up walking around, and he returned to his car once he realized the severity of the accident.”
While Jenner states that he was being chased by five paparazzi, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. John Lecrivain says, “As of right now, there is no indication that Bruce Jenner was being chased by paparazzi at the time of the crash. There was a possibility that paparazzi was following him at the time of the crash, but that is a very regular occurrence, and (there is) no indication at this time it was a contributing factor of the crash.”
Bruce stayed on the scene till about 1:30, and was willing to submit a blood alcohol test, and got into the back of a police vehicle to go to the station. Authorities did say that a case will be opened involving vehicular manslaughter, where everyone will be under investigation, not just Jenner.
