Australian actor Chris Hemsworth made his acting debut with a show called ‘Guinevere Jones’ where he played King Arthur in 2002. However, it was his role as Thor, the Norse God in the Marvel cinematic universe, that was his true claim to fame.

After starring in a few popular films like Star Trek, Rush, Snow-White and the Huntsman, Hemsworth has more to come. Apparently, The Ghostbusters franchise will be getting a reboot. But that isn’t the cream of the crop; Hemsworth will be the only male lead in a female centric cast.

Paul Feig, who is known for his work on ‘Unaccompanied Minors’ and ‘Bridesmaids’, made the announcement on his Twitter page. Feig along with Sony pictures will be making the reboot possible. One his Twitter page, Feig wrote, “It’s official. I’m making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That’s who I’m gonna call.”

Fans of the 80’s franchise are already excited about the news, causing the statement to receive more than 6000 retweets. Later he announced the involvement of Hemsworth in the film by posting a picture of him with the caption, “Our Receptionist #whoyougonnacall.”
