The eSports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) will take place from October 28th to the 30th, 2016 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex. The event will be opened once more by Senator Benigno Paolo “Bam” Aquino. The senator is a well-known supporter of gaming as well as local eSports industries and opened the ceremony last year as well.

Aquino is also an honorary member of the Philippine eSports Association (PeSPA), and as a result, the association gets to meet in the senator’s office to discuss local industry topics and issues. At ESGS, Aquino will answer some questions about the government’s role in the gaming and eSports sector in a scheduled, on-stage interview.
