With wedding season in full effect, Free People introduced its 2015 bridal collection Ever After. In true Free People fashion, the line encourages brides to embrace an unconventional look. The line includes traditional bridal elements with a unique bohemian twist. FP plays on its signature simplified Woodstock-meets-Coachella-esque nature in a gorgeous collection of understated dresses and accessories, perfect for dreamy beach weddings or romantic countryside nuptials.
Ever After highlights the ethereal modern-day bride with earthy, graceful taste. Its array of lace, mesh, and crochet wedding gowns vary in price, but stand reasonable in comparison to the more exorbitant Vera Wangs and Carolina Herreras. Free People’s newest collection of dresses ranges from $500 with “Kristin’s of Athena Dress,” an airy, embroidered halter with a midriff cutout and ruffled bottom, to $4,000 with “Lillian Gown,” a floor-length dress with a sheer top, flared sleeves, and ivory floral detailing.
The collection also consists of unique accessories like Baby’s Breath flower crowns, beaded headpieces, and body chains. Unlike most bridal collections, perusers of Ever After won’t find an expected assortment of heeled footwear, but rather anklets and structured sandals for an easier walk down the sandy aisle or open field.
Ensembles come in chic one-pieces, classy minis, two-piece crop-skirt sets, and trained gowns.
Ever After is for the all the non-conformist, adventurous brides out there. Emoting chic style and grace, Free People’s first-ever bridal line is guaranteed to create life-long memories.
