During the 1980’s, the Ghostbusters films with Bill Murry, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver were all the rage. The film was about a group of men who would hunt and capture ghosts professionally and save the town.
Since these are the times when everything old-school seems to be coming back in demand, a Ghostbusters remake is definitely in order. However, this time the major difference is that it will be an all female lead cast.
The film will be staring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Ghostbusters will be directed by Paul Feig and will also be starring Chris Hemsworth. The movie makers promise that the reboot will be scarier than the original and will be a thrilling ride.
The film will be shot in Boston and there may or may not be cameos from the stars of the original Ghostbusters film. The movie is coming out on the 22nd of July in 2016 and photographs of the cast members in their “Ghostbuster onzies” have already been released.
Fans of the original franchise are far too excited with the news of the release. Hopefully, the film will not disappoint.
