America’s Got Talent just named their Season 11 winner, singer/songwriter Grace VanderWaal.
If you haven’t been keeping up with AGT, you’ve probably heard her original songs “Clay” or her audition song “I Don’t Know My Name” which went viral soon after the episode aired. Here are some fun facts about this 12-year-old firecracker.
She’s been dubbed a “Taylor Swift mini-me” due to her soulful voice, hairstyle, and fashion choices.

According to People Magazine, Grace plans on donating her $1 million prize to charity
Grace also won the chance to headline a show in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Resort, not too shabby for a 12-year-old.
Grace started writing songs at age 3 but didn’t get her signature ukulele until she turned 11
According to CNN, she bought it with the money she received for her 11th birthday.
