Report – According to the report by US intelligence officials and specialists. (IS) Islamic State militants gain more than $3 million a day from oil deals, and also making huge sums from human trafficking and extortion, ISIS is richer than any other terror group in history.
US analysts told AP News Agency that Islamic State (IS) seized vast terrorizes in Syria and Iraq, and (IS) is now controlling 11 oil factories in Syria and Iraq. They added that the (IS) activists are selling oil and other goods via old established links under the noses of Kurdish, Turkish and Jordanian establishments, according to the US Intelligence the illegal oil is usually transported in tankers.
According to RT News Agency,
“There’s a lot of money to be made,” said Dr. Denise Natali, who worked in Kurdistan as an American humanitarian official and is now a senior research fellow at National Defense University.
“The Kurds say they have made an attempt to close it down, but you pay off a border guard, you pay off somebody else and you get stuff through,” she added.
Islamic State (IS) gets for its smuggled oil about $25 to $60 per barrel. Usually the same amount of oil costs about $100. However the total profit of the terrorist group surpasses $3 million a day, said Luay al-Khatteeb, a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution’s Doha Center in Qatar.
