Politics Isn’t Clooney’s Cup of Tea

George Clooney is one of those actors who genuinely can boast a noteworthy career. Delivering hits like Gravity, The Oceans trilogy, Men Who Stare at Goats and many more, he still manages to stay relevant today.

Although, when he was questioned about joining politics, the actor seemed a bit finicky about the idea. Clooney said,

“I was politically active long before I was famous, but I don’t want to go into it.”

Clooney was asked if that was his definite answer and he confirmed,

“Every time I am asked this question I say, no. But then I open the newspaper the next day and it says, Oh! Guess who’s going into politics!”

His wife Amal, who is a lawyer and an activist, could perhaps have a helpful hint or two. Then again, that is only if he decided to ride the political bandwagon, and it does not look like it will be anytime soon.

But whether or not he ever decides to change his mind about pursuing a career in politics, he should probably not give up acting. Clooney does a brilliant job on screen; as an audience, it is always great to look forward to more of his movies. Tomorrowland is one such awaited show.
