Yes, I’m going to see a movie this weekend but not to watch one of the new ones that opens: Christopher Robin, The Spy Who Dumped Me and The Darkest Minds.

Instead, I am going to see Mission Impossible: Fallout. I didn’t have time to see it last weekend. Yesterday I watched one of the previous films in the franchise Ghost Protocol (I loved it and I’m addicted. Let’s do the impossible and say mission accomplished). Soon I will watch Rogue Nation and should hopefully see Fallout Saturday night.

However, when this week started, I was planning to see at least one of the three big movies I previously mentioned.

I had a feeling The Spy Who Dumped Me would receive reviews that wouldn’t inspire me to spend my money and time experiencing it

I like the premise of The Darkest Minds and was hoping it would earn good reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, at a 4.2/5 rating, it has worse reviews than The Spy Who Dumped Me (5/10 rating).

Of the three, I had the most hope for Christopher Robin. I love Pooh Bear, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore of course. I won’t be seeing it this weekend though.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the overall consensus isn’t bad but neither is it exciting. Only 67 percent of its reviews on the site are positive as I write.

I probably won’t ever watch The Spy Who Dumped Me, The Darkest Minds or Christopher Robin. This is the last weekend before my summer ends and I choose to do something else. Time is short when you realize how much of it you have. (yes that makes sense hah)

This weekend I’m just going to see Fallout. Though I respect anyone who is willing to give any of the three opening movies a chance. Spend your time how you want and love doing it.
