The controversial zero-tolerance immigration policy (enforced by the Trump administration) has separated children from their families and has been coincidentally breaking news since Father’s Day.
Trump has made several claims that defend this policy. He has tweeted about how Mexican criminals use children to enter the U.S. and that he doesn’t want the United States to become like the European countries who have had an increase in crime, according to his tweets.
Crime in Germany is up 10% plus (officials do not want to report these crimes) since migrants were accepted. Others countries are even worse. Be smart America!

Even before Trump was elected, he was hard and against illegal immigration from Mexico.
“When Mexico sends its people…They’re sending people that have lots of problems…They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people,” Trump said during his campaign.
The U.S. president also made another tweet accusing Democrats as wanting illegal immigrants to overcrowd the country, so they can use them as potential voters.
Democrats are the problem. They don’t care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13. They can’t win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters!

So far at least 2,000 children have been separated due to the new policy. Previously, adults who had children were sent to immigration courts but under the new policy, every adult (even if they have children) who crosses the border illegally are charged with federal crimes.
This separates them from their children who are put into facilities. Children are returned to their parents if their parents are deported back to Mexico.
It doesn’t seem like this controversy will anytime soon. Trump is not backing down. It’s possibly up to Congress to make the next move.
