Trump Calls Himself Savior of a Declining Nation

If I go crazy, will you still call me Superman? Perhaps Donal Trump should be asking the American people that question. Instead, in a recent seventy-five-minute long acceptance speech, Trump calls himself a savior of a nation in decline.

During his incredibly long speech, Donald Trump not only calls himself a savior but paints a rather morbid picture of the United States as it stands. Trump accepted the presidential nomination Thursday night and parted with a rather scathing review of the Obama administration. He added a promise to enhance the safety and economic standing of Americans victimized by a political system gone horribly awry.

The self-proclaimed Superman also pounced on the unofficial campaign slogan of opponent Hillary Clinton, “I’m With Her”, to paint her in a rather self-serving light. He painted a portrait of a candidate that has, like most Washington culture, lost touch with the anxiety and struggles of the every man and woman that makes up America.

Trump spoke on many hot issues that have troubled Americans as of late, such as the police officers being shot recently, terrorist attacks in San Bernardino, Boston, and Orlando, as well adding in his usual spiel on hordes of “illegal immigrants” that are roaming free and, per Trump, threatening peaceful citizens.

The Republican nominee insists that his opponent will keep the rigged system of the political system in place. He pumped his fist and led quite the rally, despite the length of his speech. Ultimately, many feel that Trump’s speech and blustering towards the Obama administration and opponent Hillary Clinton are attempts to salvage the RNC, which had added more obstacles for Trump to overcome on his gambit for the White House.

Trump calls himself a savior and acts as the only one that can fix the state of America. It will be up to the voters to decide on the self-proclaimed Superman or not.
