Victoria Siegel, the 18 year old daughter of timeshare mogul David Siegel and “Queen of Versailles” star Jackie Siegel, died this past Saturday. She was found unresponsive in their Windermere mansion just after 2 p.m, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
An autopsy has been performed, but the details on the findings have not yet been released to the public.
Jackie Siegel posted to her Facebook page asking the public for privacy during this difficult time.
“It is with great sadness that we ask you to respect our privacy during this tragic time and the loss of our beloved…”

The family came into the spotlight with their documentary, “The Queen of Versailles.” It started off as a chronicle of the family’s journey of building the biggest house in America. The construction came to a halt, however, as the famous family fell into financial problems as the economy fell. The documentary then delved into the nightmare that David Siegel was placed in as his Westgate properties fell into turmoil.
The Siegel family has since sued the filmmaker, Lauren Greenfield, for defamation. This was a case that they eventually lost.
“Having viewed the supposedly egregious portions of the Motion Picture numerous times, [the Arbitrator] simply does not find that any of the content of the Motion Picture was false,” rules arbitrator Roy Rifkin.
The Siegel family recently appeared on the ABC show, “Wife Swap,” just last Wednesday.
