Samsung has good news for heavy camera users. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will quite possibly have capture video at 1,000 frames per second (fps), according to SamMobile. SamMobile also states the phone may also have two front cameras, one for its iris scanning and the other for selfies.

This new phone would be able to crush competitors. For example, a phone with a faster 1,000fps video frame rate runs eight times faster than an iPhone 7. The iPhone can record  slow-motion video in 1080p video, but only at 120fps and 720p video at 240fps. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium only shoots slow-motion video at a max of 960fps, so it’s not much competition either.

Super high fps video is crucial as regarding slow- motion video. The larger the images you capture per second, the smoother and nicer the video will be, when it plays back. However, this may also take up a lot of storage space.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 may feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a second 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera that would be used for unlocking the phone with your iris scan, as well, according to sources. The S8 may also include a facial recognition feature which will unlock your phone more easily. This could come as one of the three options, including iris scanner and the usual fingerprint sensor. The iris scanner was also featured on the Galaxy Note 7, its predecessor.

Samsung will announce S8, March, 29, in New York City; their tech competitor, Apple will be announcing the iPhone 8 as well.

My name is Winston Wallace. Wow, I'm not much for talking about myself, but I'll give it a shot. I'm a nice guy for the most part. My friends and family don't seem to hate me, so I guess I'm pretty likable. My hobbies include hanging out with my friends(when their around), reading, playing video games, and watching movies. I don't technically have a personal preference to the video games I play, the books I read, or the movies I watch. It's basically what ever catches my interest. I also like going to concerts. Yep, concerts are very fun. Well, that all I could come up with for now. I probably come back and add more at a later date.
