The USA has been working on secret, new-generation space and spy planes. Russian intelligence uncovered the fact that the USA was testing a super-secret plane at one of its airbases. Russian agents attempted to see the new object with their own eyes and take pictures, but all attempts failed. The Americans provided incredible security for their secret weapon, and they tested the plane only at night. However, Russian agents managed to get some information about the new planes.
America is working on the first ever space army, which would provide the United States with complete domination in near-Earth orbit. It will not be possible for any anti-missile defense complexes to hit such planes, as they will be completely out of reach. The American space army will be able to hit any target on planet Earth at any moment, which the USA calls Aurora, in honor of the Goddess of the Dawn.
The mystery aircraft is capable of flying very high, at a height of 40+ kilometers. Even the latest pursuit planes cannot fly so high. The Aurora plane also possesses fantastic supersonic speed, the so-called 6M speed, as scientists call it. One M is equal to 340 meters a second. In other words, Aurora can fly at a speed of 2 kilometers a second, and this is not the limit. This speed is achieved due to extremely powerful engines and the special design of the plane’s hull and wings.
The aircraft was constructed based on Stealth technology, which was selected by the American defense industry long ago. The technology poses great difficulties for both ground and air radar systems.
A picture of the Aurora aircraft is rarer than a picture of an UFO. So far, Russia has only one picture of the mysterious American plane. The picture was taken by a Russian intelligence officer at the moment when the Aurora plane was refueling in the air. Later, it became known that before the flying tank of fuel (KC-135 aircraft) refueled the Aurora, a spy plane flew across Russia from east to west and was not detected by any radar systems.
USAF Secretive X-37B Space Plane, The U.S. Air Force’s mysterious X-37B space plane returned to Earth this week on Tuesday after 22 months in orbit on a secret mission. The Air Force has two X-37B space planes in its fleet and has been flying them on secret missions since 2010. But the exact purpose of those flights have been shrouded in secrecy. The mission in orbit now, called Orbital Test Vehicle 3 (OTV-3), launched on Dec. 11, 2012 aboard an Atlas 5 rocket. The Americans invented another aircraft as well, which is almost like a rocket. The new plane was invented by American defense scientists with an eye towards the future. The most powerful pursuit planes can fly at heights of 35-40 kilometers. Russia is capable matching its strength with the USA in this respect. Russia has such aircraft: Su-2711, MiG-29, and MiG-31. However, these planes can only fly in the near-Earth environment, whereas the environment between the Earth’s atmosphere and space is still vacant, so to speak. That is why, the development of the near-Earth space environment weapon is so relevant for defense. Totally new kinds of aircraft: spy planes, fighter planes, transport planes. They will be able to fly from the atmosphere into space and then return to Earth. The Americans have been working on this kind of aircraft for years, developing several “star wars” projects. The US already has the X-33, X-34, X-37, and X-38 planes.
The Lockheed SR-71 “Blackbird” was an advanced, long-range, Mach 3+ strategic reconnaissance aircraft. It was developed as a black project from the Lockheed A-12 reconnaissance aircraft in the 1960s by Lockheed and its Skunk Works division. Blackbird SR-71 was in many ways a product of Area 51 testing and an evolution of the A-12, which was decommissioned in 1968, Photo Via NASA.
The SR-71 was the brainchild of Kelly Johnson, the famed Lockheed designer who created the P-38, the F-104 Star fighter, and the U-2. After the Soviets shot down Gary Powers’ U-2 in 1960, Johnson began to develop an aircraft that would fly three miles higher and five times faster than the spy plane-and still be capable of photographing your license plate. However, flying at 2,000 mph would create intense heat on the aircraft’s skin. Lockheed engineers used a titanium alloy to construct more than 90 percent of the SR-71, creating special tools and manufacturing procedures to hand-build each of the 40 planes. Special heat-resistant fuel, oil, and hydraulic fluids that would function at 85,000 feet and higher.
A new photo of a mysterious flying object, over Wichita Kansas, was taken by Jeff Templin. ‘The photo is grainy because it was taken with a hand-held maxed-out 400mm telephoto lens through a cloud layer and then it was severely cropped to bring it up even closer,’ says Templin, who took the photo on 16 April.
A Sneak peek inside Area 51, Shadowy government departments, X Files, extraterrestrial pilots and futuristic crashed flying saucers – even Elvis Presley. They are all supposedly contained in the legendary and mystical Area 51 complex in the Nevada desert.
The intense secrecy surrounding the base – the U.S. government barely acknowledges its existence – has guaranteed its popularity in conspiracy theories and sci-fi films. But now information and pictures have given an rare and tantalising glimpse into the most famous top secret site on Earth.

When a 1963 test flight ended in a crash in Utah, a recovery team was sent from the Area 51 section of Edwards Air Force Base in Nevada. The pictures predominantly deal with the January 1963 crash of a A-12 spy plane – the prototype of what was later to become the SR-71 ‘Blackbird.’
Details of Area 51, are slim though a documentary from the National Geographic Channel, said that the crash was quickly covered up by the government. At the height of the Cold War, the U.S. Air Force, the CIA and NASA did not want to show the progress they had made in both supersonic and stealth technology.
Essentially undetectable to radar technology at the time, the A-12 could fly at 2,200 miles an hour – almost three times the speed of sound, which is fast enough to cross the continental U.S. in 70 minutes. From 90,000 feet, the plane’s ultra-sensitive cameras could capture foot-long objects on the ground below.
Almost 50 years after the event, the documentary reveals how a routine test flight turned into a potential international incident when CIA test pilot Ken Collins was forced to eject from a wildly out-of-control aircraft.
Crash site: Even to the untrained eye, the wreckage shows a futuristic aircraft design that the U.S. was desperate to keep secret. While Collins kept curious locals away, a team from Area 51 rushed to the site, Photo Via Nat Geo.
Quick response: A government ‘sanitation’ team uses bulldozers and cranes to remove all traces of the A-12 spy plane from the Utah desert. The whole incident was kept secret for more almost 50 years, Photo Via Nat Geo.
Cover-up… literally: Knowing when Russian spy satellites were expected over the U.S., the Area 51 team had to cover any unremoved wreckage with tarpaulins so they could not be photographed, Photo Via Nat Geo.
Flying under his Area 51 code name Ken Colmar, Collins was testing the A-12’s subsonic engines at 25,000 feet when “the airplane pitched up and went up and got inverted and went into a flat incipient spin.”
In layman’s terms, that is when a plane ceases to be aerodynamic and begins an unrecoverable freefall – in this instance, while also upside down.
With a high measure of understatement, Mr Collins adds: ‘”I thought I’d better eject, so I ejected down, because I was upside down.”
The plane went down near Wendover, Utah, and – despite the unconventional ejection – Collins safely parachuted to the ground. He was immediately met by three civilians in a pickup truck, who offered to give him a ride back to the wreckage of his plane. But Collins had been trained to keep civilians away from military crash sites at all costs, so he told the kind-hearted folk to drive him in the opposite direction. He launched into his pre-arranged cover story that the plane had a nuclear weapon on board and it was unsafe.
Heavyweight removal: Smaller pieces of debris were packed up in boxes, while larger bits of wreckage, such as the engines, were cut up using blowtorches and loaded onto flatbed trucks, Photo Via Nat Geo.
Upside Radar testing: The unique design of the A-12 made it virtually invisible to radar at the time. A mock-up of the aircraft is seen here upside down as it is tested. Ironically, this is also how test pilot Collins had to eject in 1963, Photo Via Nat Geo.
At the same time, a team of government agents from Area 51 had been scrambled to the site and were initiating a complete cover-up operation. Pieces of wreckage were loaded into boxes, and larger parts – such as engines – were cut to pieces by blowtorches and loaded onto flatbed trucks. Photos show how the recovery team had to cover A-12 wreckage with tarpaulins so that Russia’s own spy satellites could not identify any of the technology.
By the following day, there was little left at the site that would suggest a crash had even taken place. Details of the crash and the wreck site were kept secret during the next half century.
Collins even claims that U.S. officials later asked him to undergo hypnosis and treatments of ‘truth serum’ sodium pentothal to be sure he relayed every detail of the incident truthfully and correctly.
Major General Sergey Kolganov, an academician of the Russian Space Academy, said that the USA’s work on the development of supersonic space and spy aircraft poses yet another potential threat to Russia.
“I doubt that Russia is ready to fight with these American space and spy planes. Some of our anti-missile defense complexes can hit targets up to 100 kilometers high. However, these new American aircraft can fly higher. Russia has very good ideas for defense, I am certain of that. The Americans have not even dreamed about them. However, they are only ideas, nothing more. Our scientists are not working on any projects that might counteract the American space and spy planes,” Kolganov said – Dailymail.
