- 'American Idol' Winner Fantasia Barrino is Married!

American Idol Winner Fantasia Barrino recently got married to Kendall Taylor. The couple had a quiet ceremony on Saturday night and Barrino posted several of their special moments on Instagram.

Those who really know me know that I LOVE Water.. Can you see it? How Happy I am.. This Man.. God made him just for Me and me Just For Him.. This Man.. Covers and prays for me and my children EVERY morning.. This Man.. Loves My Father in Heaven and his name is God.. This Man allows me to just be a woman.. No more Hurt because King Kendall will never let that happen.. I’m off to just kiss, Hug and play in some water with This Man.. Look at Him in the pic YEP!! HE COVERS ME.. Be Happy with me you guys cause I’ve been thru SOOOOO much. Some stuff was my wrong decisions but all I ever really wanted was this.. Real Love. This Man and this smile is real… Later you guys bye bye for a while.. God did not forget about me….

She wrote to her fans on Instagram to show how in love and happy she is. She captioned one of her photos,

Barrino confirmed her engagement to Taylor in November 2014 when she had posted a picture to Instagram of her gorgeous ring. She continues to use social media to announce her milestones.

Grandma.. This is the day you waited and prayed for just for me. I know your up in heaven right now telling everyone you know and the ones you’ve met in heaven that your Grand Baby is having a Wedding. Grandma can you do me a favor? Can you come to my wedding today? Let me feel your presence in the room. Also one more thing can you let my family know I Love Them and it’s only one of me but if I could do it all I would. Grandma I really do miss you and I need you to be here today.. Grandma when you see Abraham can you let him know I desire to have his kind of Faith, let Daniel know I desire to Have his Humbleness and his Connection he had with the Father thru prayer. Gran let David know I desire to have his strength and when The Philistines come after me and all that I’ve built ill be able to tear down Giants that come to destroy me. Tell God I said I promise to stay Faithful to Him, my Husband and My Kids. Heaven you have a special Angel up there and she is faithful to the End.. On another picture, Barrino was extremely sentimental as she posted a photo of her grandmother saying,
