Several sources have claimed Kim Jong-un dead on Saturday night as the North Korean leader has not been spotted publically since April 11. Social media posts in China, Japan, North Korea, and the Far East claim the 36-year-old North Korean tyrant underwent a failed cardiac operation. The exact details remain uncertain due to the super-secretive structure of the outcast regime. No one can confirm anything before an official state announcement.

On Monday, following a heart operation on April 12, North Korean officials had unverified claims – which they soon nullified as rumors. The South Korean government and the Chinese liaison officer disregarded all rumors that claimed Kim was in extreme danger after the surgery. They confirmed no signs of suspicious behavior in North Korea.

But a statement was made by the vice director of the Hong Kong news service, a Chinese foreign minister’s niece. Shijian Xingzou, Vice Chairman of HKSTV Hong Kong Satellite Television, said that a ‘very solid source’ told her, Kim Jong-un was dead. Many reports claimed he was in a vegetative position on his death bed without any possibility of survival.

Inside Kim Jong-un’s Life

January 8 1983 is Kim Jong-un’s birthday. He is a hereditary member of the third generation to rise to power following the death of his father, Kim Jong Il, in 2011. Four occasions since 2018, he has toured China.

According to Opera News, Kim Jong-un is a hateful little man who has continuously killed many political rivals in several bizarre ways. He was simultaneously the Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, commander-in-chief, and member of the Presidium of the Politburo of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

To the manner of no other national leaders on the earth, he had an unregulated and strong influence over the whole state dynamics. He murdered and imprisoned millions of rivals, and utilized jails and slave camps in a manner not seen since the Nazis era.

The United Nations has often accused him of “systematic, widespread and gross human rights violations where the regime seeks to dominate every aspect of its citizens’ lives and terrorizes them from within.”

Per Opera News, apart from being happy slaughtering his men, Kim dreamed of becoming a nuclear force with the potential to intimidate the planet. So, Kim Jong-un invested millions, building nuclear bombs while millions of his fellow countrymen died of starvation.

Reports have it that Kim Yo-jong may assume the North Korean presidential role if Kim Jong-un is really dead.  According to an official in South Korea, the nation may be troubled by the absence of a named heir. This might contribute, as per the source, to a civil conflict. It is also claimed a global migrant crisis is extremely probable.

Why all the Rumors that Kim Jong-un is Dead?

The official media in the hermit state last recorded Kim’s location on April 11 at a conference. On April 15, he did not participate in a North Korean significant anniversary, celebrating his grandfather’s birthday, Kim Il Sung. North Korea is one of the most marginalized and sensitive nations in the world, and state protection is the wellbeing of its citizens. Amidst rumors of Kim’s health worsening, there are questions regarding the current ripple effects of the death of the North Korean leader.

Depending on North Korean state media, Kim has ever vanished in the past. In 2014, North Korean State Television reported Kim Jong-un’s disappearance for over a month, and when he surfaced, he was limping. His addiction to smoking, an obvious increase in weight, and having a family history of serious cardiovascular issues, ignited the debate concerning his health.

South Korean media said when Kim Jong-un’s father, Kim Jong Il, suffered from a stroke in 2008, Chinese and French doctors treated him. The news agency, CNN, has focused this week on a satellite pictorial survey of a Washington-based North Korean surveillance projecting a special family private train. It was attributed to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, which focused on contradictory information regarding Kim’s safety and his location.

In CNN’s Saturday study, they mentioned the train had been stationed at the ‘headquarters’ at Wonsan, 38 North, on April 21 and 23. A source stated that the station was intended for use only by the Kim family.

The report indicated: “The train’s presence does not prove the whereabouts of the North Korean leader or indicate anything about his health. Though, it does lend weight to reports of Kim staying at an elite area on the country’s eastern coast.”

The USA Responds to the Rumors

In 2018 and 2019, as part of a campaign to convince him to surrender North Korea’s nuclear weapons, Mr. Trump hosted historic conferences with Kim. Specific pictures of a private train touring a holiday resort indicate Kim Jong-un might eventually be seen in public. The US President Donald Trump also dismissed prior news on Thursday that Kim was gravely ill.

He said: “I think the report  that Kim Jong-un is dead was incorrect,” before declining to say if he had been in contact with North Korean officials.

Donald Trump sent Kim Jong-un his warm wishes. An official acquainted with American intelligence said they considered Kim to be unwell. Still, it remains unknown if he has a significant disease or possibly cannot suddenly appear in public.

When asked about Kim’s health, Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo said: “I don’t have anything I can share with you tonight. The American people should know we’re watching the situation very keenly.”

Where is China in the Puzzle?

The absence of Kim Jong-Un has intensified his health uncertainty. Last year, for the first state visit in fourteen years, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited North Korea, a developing nation that relies upon Beijing for diplomatic and economic assistance. China is the principal ally of North Korea and the economic source of support for a hard-hit country by the United Nations’ sanctions. China has a deep interest in the security of the country, with the volatile extensive frontier it shares.

Insiders said China recently forwarded a medical team to Pyongyang, North Korea’s city, to examine Kim’s health status. According to three sources involved in the investigation, the Chinese team on Thursday left Beijing for North Korea, comprising the doctors and the CCP officials. A Japanese newspaper, Shukan Gendai, reported that the North Korean leader is in a vegetative condition following a heart condition. A Chinese doctor, suspected to be part of the delegation sent to help Kim Jong-un, confirmed the president had become critically ill after a delay in a basic heart procedure.

On Friday, a South Korean leak said Kim was alive and hopefully will come out early. The source said he had no statement or any Chinese participation in Kim’s present position.

World War 3: Could Kim Jong-un’s Death Spark a Disaster?

Death rumors of Kim Jong-un cause WW3 alerts as North Korea violates the globe’s uncertainty. These claims have triggered alarm over North Korea’s possible civil strife — considered a nuclear-armed territory. Through its nuclear weapons program, Kim Jong-un always threatened a world war. When his earlier hard-fisted efforts became substantially effective with nuclear-armed potential and missiles, analysts were gradually concerned.

North Korea has threatened preempted nuclear assaults against the US. In December 2015, Kim rendered North Korea what he considered “a nuclear weapon state” ready to detonate an A-bomb and H-bomb to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the nation reliably.

The worst-case scenario also indicates the strategic capability of North Korea’s bombs ranging from 15 to 60, potentially containing hydrogen. Built on Soviet technology, the new version of the Hwasong-15 ICBM  can strike anywhere within the US.

Over one million North Korean forces are threatening South Korea. South Korea has an estimated 3.1 million machinery and 599,000 active soldiers around the frontier. North Korea has a contingency army of 600,000 soldiers and 5.9 million paramilitaries as per the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Totaling both the armed and military population per capita, North Korea is the largest military force on the planet. The government under Kim has tested more than 100 missiles.

Furthermore, North Korea launched several missiles into the Japanese Sea in March. The nation has more than 4,300 tanks, 8,600 weapons, and 5,500 multiple rocket launcher units. Various sources anticipate the military in North Korea to counter any external interventions. Any attempts by the US or South Korea to obtain the missiles of mass destruction will be arduous.

Is North Korea For Peace?

North Korea is not a signatory for the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). The NPT seeks to discourage the development of nuclear arms and technologies. It also facilitates collaboration in the constructive usage of nuclear energy. NPT signatories include the US, the USSR, the UK, France, and China.

Unlike Russia, the UK, and France, North Korea did not also sign the 1996 Multilateral Agreement (CNTB). The CNTB bans both civilian and military nuclear blasts. The US and China signed the CNTB but are not ratified. India and Pakistan also performed nuclear experiments, yet are non-signatories of CNTB.

The NPT suspected Israel had nuclear arms. Israel agreed to sign the Agreement but did not affirm or refute possessing nuclear bombs. In 1950, the USSR and China backed North Korea and occupied the United States-backed South. This signaled the beginning of the triennial Korean War. Kim Jong-un’s death might get the world into a nuclear war. Satellite pictures of the North Korean base indicate ‘something major is happening’.
