Super Tuesday is the most critical voting day in the democratic primary race. Millions of voters across the country come out of the vote for the candidate they want to see taking on Donald Trump in November.
Bernie dominated California with the support of Liberals and Latinos. But the contest changed in the last 72 hours, the rise of Biden due to the endorsements from his rivals.
Amy Klobuchar who dropped out of the race said
If we spend the next four months dividing our party and going at each other, we will spend the next four years watching Donald trump tearing apart this country”
This super Tuesday contest proved out to be a historic election, which party has not witnessed since 1952.
Bernie Sanders has benefitted from the weak opposition. While Bloomberg, Biden, and Warren compete for an overlapping share of the electorate.
Bloomberg lost more than any other candidate on Super Tuesday. Though his support has increased, the recent polls indicate that he lost ground after the highly criticized debate last month. He came under attack for his views on people of color and Women.
Republican primaries also took place on Tuesday, but Trump has no serious competition, the democratic primary was of importance.
