Toyota always thinks out of the box and the new Toyota Yaris is the perfect example of this. It has a breathtaking exterior and a tech-related interior. Although the car is based on the Mazda 2 model, there are sharp differences between the two. Let us review the different specs and features of this Toyota model in detail:

Official Cost Price and Release:

The Toyota Company displayed the car in 2018. However, the Company hasn’t given the official release date of the car yet. There are speculations that Toyota Yaris will be released in fall 2019.

Since the car hasn’t been released, no one knows the cost price. However, the 2018 Yaris costs between $16,500 and $20,000. Therefore, this car will probably start around $17000.

Engine and Performance:

The latest Toyota model has 106 horsepower and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder along with a six-speed automatic transmission. The car takes only 9.1 seconds to reach up to 60 mph (96.56 kilometers per hour). However, with a six-speed manual, the car takes only 8.7 seconds to reach 60 mph (ca. 97 km/h). These results aren’t that great, but still, the car doesn’t feel slow.

The car suspension is finely tuned and the automatic transmission mode helps in smooth driving. The suspension also balances the bumps on the road, which gives a comfortable ride.

Exterior:

The Toyota Yaris has an exterior, similar to the Corolla Altis. The car has a large front grille and rounded lamps. There are large headlamps with LED daytime running lamps. The rear portion also has LED taillamps and foglamps. The muscular bonnet gives the car an aggressive look. Yaris has chrome door handles along with integrated turn signal lights.

The LED turn indicators are present in the outside mirrors. They make lane crossing quite easy. An integrated heating system is also present which ensures that fog and other dust particles don’t create hindrance in view.

The Yaris doesn’t have a sunroof or roof rails. It also doesn’t have a body kit and rub-strips. Still, the exterior is quite impressive.

Interior:

Toyota Yaris has a high-quality interior with a large cabin space. It has leather covered front and rear seats. Other awesome interior features include adjustable driver seat, tire pressure monitoring system, roof mounted air-vents, vibration control system and a high solar energy absorbing system.

The car has a 7.0-inch touch screen, through which you can monitor your music and contacts. You can also watch high-quality videos on it. You can either touch the screen directly or use the control knob. The system also has Bluetooth connectivity and a voice recognition system. There is also a Standard Sirius SM Radio to take you on a musical adventure.

The smart key system is another great feature of the Yaris. With this system, you can lock and unlock the car doors with a single push button. A push button is also present to start and stop the engine. You can keep the key in your pocket all the time.

Toyota Yaris also has an auto-climate control system, which helps you to monitor the temperature within the cabin. The car also has two USB ports, which give easy access to music.

Safety:

The crash test rating of the Toyota Yaris is 5. This makes the car 100% safe for driving. Some important safety features include 7 airbags including knee airbags, rear-parking camera, disc brakes on the wheel, front sensor parking and keyless entry.

The car also has a low-speed collision system, which looks for potential collision threats on the road and automatically activates the braking system to avoid collision. All Toyota cars also have a warranty of 2 years.

Verdict:

The new Toyota Yaris has amazing specs and features. Although the exterior of the car is quite attractive, the main selling feature will be its high tech interior. Therefore, if you are a tech geek, you should buy the Toyota Yaris. You won’t find a better deal.
