What’s Not Coming Back for New Episodes for Fox and Other TV Services?

Prepare to say farewell to shows that probably should be cancelled due to declining quality and other programs that just weren’t “popular” enough to continue.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox)

Fox cancelled their police procedural comedy series starring Andy Samberg after five seasons. The show has won two Golden Globes, one for comedy series and another for Samberg and has been nominated for Emmy as well. Brooklyn Nine-Nine was probably cancelled due to low viewership ratings.

Fans of the show, including celebrities have expressed their feelings about the cancellation on Twitter.

There still might be hope for this show. Other networks and streaming services might consider keeping the show alive.

Other Shows Cancelled by Fox

The post-apocalypse comedy series The Last Man on Earth starring Will Forte and produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller was cancelled after four seasons. The show was Emmy-nominated and probably cancelled due to low ratings.

Also, Lucifer a police procedural based off a comic book series was cancelled after three seasons. This show’s first season received a rotten rating on Rotten Tomatoes but improved in its later seasons.

Connected to The Exorcist franchise, the tv series The Exorcist was cancelled after two seasons. The show had mostly positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes but was probably cancelled due to it being Fox’s lowest rated program this year, averaging 1.32 million total viewers and a 0.41 rating in the 18-49 demographic, according to Variety.

Other Fox shows cancelled so far include The Mick, The X-Files and Wayward Pines.

The list probably continues and more shows will be added to this death-list. Some shows should be cancelled but it can be sad to see a good story end too soon or even conclude without resolution. Pray for the shows you love that haven’t been renewed yet!

About Pseudonym Smynoduesp

I am supposed to describe who I am without revealing too much in less than 100 words. In fact even less than that now! It is a ridiculous task, but I guess the purpose of this box is not for you all to really get to know me, but for you to want to get to know me and of course read my material. Hope this is enough! I am a confident person who loves movies, TV shows, music and books. I am someone that wants to influence the entire world and this is the beginning.
